But if you're having back surgery C as more than half a million people do each year C you should be prepared.,If you are passionate about fashion and back yourself as an entrepreneur then I would encourage you to try create and sell one of your own fashion products online. The online market for fashion is growing exponentially. If you have the?vision?and foresight to identify a niche market and develop a sort after, easy-to-buy product then the world could be your oyster. 10 steps to creating a fashion product1. Identify best selling products that can be nuancedSpend time on eBay looking for the best selling fashion products. Identify a shortlist of 10 products that you like and then think how each can be changed slightly to differentiate them from the original. You should be able to come up with at least 1 or 2 products that you can add a new dimension to. Try to focus on products that are easy for customers to buy online and easy for you to sell (i.e. shipment and posting). In my case, I chose a simple white top as it is a great online seller. I nuanced the top by introducing a low backline cut and adding a colourful ribbon. I also chose this product as it was easy to manufacture, easy to sell online and only came in a few variations in terms of size and colour.2. Find a manufacturerOnce you have chosen a product or two, then you need to source a suitable manufacturer. Depending on the brand image that you want to portray, you might want to be careful with the type of manufacturer you look for. For example, with the white top that I developed, I wanted to send a premium message of style and quality. I therefore looked for a suitable manufacturer in France. Of course, if you want to get your product made on the cheap then the best place to look is China. The Alibaba website has the most comprehensive list of manufacturers and suppliers in China and the Far East. If you can find your product here then you?won't find it anywhere.3. Get a prototype madeAfter establishing contact with a manufacturer and confirming that they can make your product (i.e. in my case a white top with a low backline cut and added ribbon), then it is time to see what price they can offer. The price typically varies depending on the quantity bought. Most manufacturers will only do a run of products in excess of a few hundred units. In China, the minimum order threshold is typically quite high. I managed to get my manufacturer to agree to a minimum run of 200 units. The important thing is to see whether they would be willing to provide a prototype of the product. Sometimes they will do this for free or for a small fee. Make sure you do not agree any terms until you have received a prototype and are happy with the?quality?etc.4. Take professional picturesOnce you have received your prototype you should then take professional photographs of the product that adequately illustrate the key attributes and make the offering appealing to any customer who sees the image. If you are not good with photography and don't have a decent camera then I would recommend asking friends who do have photographic skills to help you out. There are so many people who can take decent photos nowadays and are wiling to work for free if they can use the photos for their portfolio. Don't waste money by paying for a professional photographer. Here are some of the pictures I took for my product!,Show me a guy who is well dressed and I'll show you a man who's girlfriend, or mother buys their clothes. This may not be true for all the guys, but I would bet that it's true most of the time. Most guys do not understand fashion as women do and it obvious. I love clothes. For me, clothing is a form of self-expression just like paint on a canvas is a form of expression for an artist. So, over the years I've been known to scour the pages of fashion magazines for ideas. Sometimes I buy the magazines in the store, other times I subscribe to them for a year or more. Often times, when I flip through the pages, I get inspiration to combine colors, textures or styles in a way I hadn't thought of in the past.

London is a place with great history in the field of fashion. It is one of the favorite locations of any person related to fashion. We cannot ignore the contribution of fashion schools in London fashion industry. These well-known fashion schools have a good reputation in the production of top designers in shoe design, men's clothing, women's clothing, etc. They also have professionals in areas such as fashion photography, fashion merchandising, fashion journalism, and lot more. If you are a student in fashion in London, you can learn pattern cutting, garment production, designing in both manual and digital formats, the history of fashion, etc. Most of the school is well equipped with most modern equipments. Besides all these advantages, you will be able to make a contact with successful working designers, as many tutors usually are well designers in the fashion world. Therefore, it will be a good step from your side in deciding to study fashion in London if you are interested in this field.,Winter is nearly upon us so our thoughts turn to spring/summer as LFW SS11 begins. Even the weather warmed to the event as it went from crisp chilly days to end with blazing hot sunshine.,It's four going on five! In the last 45 days, India has seen as many as four fashion weeks. Be it the second string? Kolkata Fashion Week which is nascent yet promising, or the debutante India Men's Week, not forgetting the established Lakme Fashion Week and the recently culminated India Couture Week and now the fifth one beckons, the Big Daddy of them all - Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. This one is about putting ICW under a microscope. It was jinxed, many felt. Its existence came last year at a time when FDCI saw a split with Sumeet Nair, who is now practically non existent in the fashion frat. This time around, it was postponed from July to August to September to finally in October. Next year, no one knows if it will happen.? The first day stood cancelled, apparently Abu and Sandeep did not get enough passes to accommodate their guests and backed out on grounds of bias. Later a statement was released C We stand cohesively with the FDCI - at least that was heartening! Fashion critics kept insinuating that collections showcased were hardly Couture, barring a select few designers of course. Then there were a few who showed similar collections as shown in previous fashion weeks, perhaps one can't be blamed since fashion weeks are being held too back to back to be able to churn out a new collection. But then which medical study proves that one needs to show at every 'week' to stay healthy? It was nice to see most designers break the bridal genre of couture in India. Like Suneet Verma says, Indian couture is very relevant to Indian fashion, therefore it's necessary to have a couture week in India. We are designers working in a country that has a treasure of incredible textiles, embroideries and other related crafts which enables us to do super luxe, handmade one of a kind custom made clothing this is a very unique experience compared to the west which has really become about the ready to wear and mass volume collections for most design houses. Even a Varun Bahl who had one of the most stunning collections says, I think India demands High fashion and HDIL did the smartest thing to be the first one to introduce it in India. But the sets this time were not much to talk about, were they?? In my opinion the entire Grandeur was beautiful but there is always scope for improvement he politically accepts.
Louis Vuitton Epi Läder Madeleine GM Ivoire Väska Fashion design combines design and aesthetics to clothes and accessories. It can be influenced by almost anything. In fact, the reason why most fashion designers wear what appears to be a uniform, is because they are so busy looking around themselves to find inspiration to spend a ton of time on their own wardrobes. In that sense, fashion designers are like architects, they're like painters or filmmakers, with their creative minds constantly wandering.,Go to London Fashion Week or any big fashion event in the UK and you are sure to see some Eco fashion of one sort or another. Eco fashion is big business, with consumers becoming increasingly aware of the impact that there fashion choices have on the environment. Recycling and refashion of old clothes is the latest trends in eco fashion. Many would say it is the most environmentally friendly eco fashion of all. It reduces clothing waste as well as reducing the impact of manufacturing of new clothing.,With winter wear well and truly banished to the back of the wardrobe, it's time to stock up on fabulous summer fashion. From footwear to headwear - and everything in between C it's all change as this year's new lines start to hit the high street. The sweatshirt has been around for ages it seems – since the 1970s or before. A period of over 40 years is a long time in the fashion industry, long enough for a trend to develop, die away, make a comeback and repeated that cycle over and over again. So how does the humble women's sweatshirt compare against that expectation? Does it follow the page of other mainstream casual garments? It has certainly never died and disappeared completely, so does that make it one of the more resilient garments in the female wardrobe? It probably does. From original appearances as a purely sports-orientated piece of clothing, the sweatshirt quickly became appreciated for its casual comfort, easy care requirements and opportunity for colour and design alternatives, which effectively presented a blank canvas for branding, advertising, sports kit and individual customising. Some of the first companies to take advantage of the sweatshirt's popularity were the big sports fashion names. As sport was the first arena many people saw these items and the association was already there to be built on. Adidas, Nike, Umbro were some of the first but have been followed by others such as Puma and more specialised sports brands like Canterbury, ASICS, Salomon and Brooks. More traditional fashion brands were quick to recognise this additional market and big names like Levi's, Wrangler, Gap, Gant and others have all offered sweatshirt derivatives in their ranges for many years. For females, the market expanded even further with women-focussed brands such as Donna Karen, French Connection, ?,? all using the sweatshirt as part of a sporting line of co-ordination garments that included pants and all kinds of matching accessories. The demand for sweatshirts boomed and started to infiltrate every area of fashion. The high-end fashion labels were not to be left out either and the simple sweatshirt completed its rise to fame from athletic casualness to couture fashion icon when marks like Armani, Chanel, Karen Millen, Dolce and Gabbana and Elle Sport have all tested the market with their own take on the sweatshirt. These high-end items may have started with a plain jersey fabric but their finished items bear little resemblance to the Nike versions once they are embellished with gold or silver branding and detailed customisations. It is these designer sweatshirt items that are amongst the most sought after in vintage fashion stores too. Of course while a top quality Nike sweatshirt from the eighties will always find an owner, a designer fashion label brings a whole new price point into consideration.Next came the commodity end of the market, where sweatshirts were used as uniform items for retail assistants, gardeners, lifeguards, bus drivers, cleaners and then came the move into school uniform for which the sweatshirt was perfect – now millions and millions of sweatshirts are worn, dirtied, washed and re-worn on a regular cycle every week. The evolution was complete, from the backs of footballers, through catwalk models to the playground accessory.,For your necklace or chain to look most grand and luxurious, a pendant is highly essential.
