Eleven: Background
The Number 11 bus route is a twenty-six mile outer circle route that takes in many of Birmingham's outer suburbs. 'Eleven' is set around this bus route and is offered here for interest. It is intended to be the first half of a complete story (so maybe we should call this part 'Five-and-a-half') and is being launched at 11 minutes past 11, on November 11th 2010.The second half will be available one year later, i.e. at 11.11 on 11/11/11........all a bit artifical, but fun nevertheless.

If you like (or don't like) this first half let us know by email to eleven@the wordsthething.org.uk. Similarly, if you have ideas about how the story could continue - send them to the same address. Any ideas that get incorporated into the second half (even vaguely) will be credited to the person contributing them.

You can read this story anywhere - but you could also visit Birmingham, sit on the Number 11 bus for a couple of hours and read the story as you go round...........
